Dr. Carter's 25-year practice has been enriched by the teachings of Abraham Liu, Benjamin Lo, John Bright-Fey, Sam Masich and Lenzie Williams. An accomplished T'ai Chi practitioner for over 25 years, Dr. Carter is an instructor of this art form and teaches on an individual and group basis. It is a sweeping and lyrical exercise which brings harmony and balance to each person through conscious awareness of one's body, emotions, mind, spirit and breath. This class is suitable for beginning students and for those familiar with T'ai Chi who may wish to review the fundamental principles applicable to all T'ai Chi forms. Participants will learn the basic T'ai Chi form and basic T'ai Chi principles. Emphasis is placed on improving health, increasing flexibility and developing greater internal calmness.
